Why traveling is important in life?
I often question myself about the meaning of life and what is really crucial in our journey. Why traveling is important in life? And why traveling is the only thing you buy that makes you richer?
There are countless benefits of traveling the World. After 4 years of constant travel, I could say that I see the World with a new pair of eyes. And today, I understand how traveling impacted my life and changed me as a person.
Traveling – it leaves you speechless, then turns you into a storyteller.
Travel gives time to observe, to learn, to appreciate. It opens your eyes on what is really true and what really matters. It inspires you, shows you how to be a better person and how to improve your life. You start asking yourself big and important questions and opening your mind to new ideas.
Some of us travel to get over something or someone. I did. You might call it running away, but I would say that travelling took me through the process of recovery and healing. It gave me time and distance.
Getting your heart broken is often one of the most painful and difficult times in our lives. Traveling allows you to separate yourself from the past and learn to let go of painful memories.
Traveling is important to meet other like-minded travelers! The most memorable and vibrant memories from my travels are people. There is something extremely special and unique about sharing your life with strangers from all over the World. Every traveler has a story to tell and a lesson to give you. And some of them stay with you forever, deep in your heart, even if you are not together any more.
Isn’t traveling the best investment in personal growth? Isn’t traveling the best tool to boost your personal development?
Traveling is important to start seeing and understanding how other people experience the World. The easiest way is just to stick to your own opinion and vision rather than walking in other people’s shoes and seeing different ways of living. Discovering cultural differences is a great eye-opening experience, which broadens our mind. We have a deeper awareness, that improves our understanding and provides us with another perspective.
Traveling is important to appreciate the present. One day I heard following beautiful words:
The past is history, the future is a mystery, and this moment is a gift. That is why this moment is called – the present.
Wouldn’t you agree with that statement?
Life begins at the end of your comfort zone.
How true is that saying?
In our daily life, we are disrupted by routine. Many people live a comfortable life, full of monotony caused by chasing after luxury and security. Forgetting that this is just something what the society forces us to run after. Our fear is to take the risk to be alive, to take advantage and to change the situation and simply be happy.
Why traveling is important? It provides us with the opportunity to go into unfamiliar situations and makes us to take the choices. Teaches us to take things how they are, face our fears, bring up our hidden power. As a result, we grow and learn to enjoy every moment and look different at the World.
Some people are designed to constantly discover new places and let naturally the curiosity lead the way. Others, are home birds and would rather stay at the same location for rest of their lives. And this is absolutely fine. But I am one of those first ones.
I believe that the desire to move is a part of human nature. We only live once.
I have seen plenty of things that defy the common impression of life. Undoubtedly, you can see them, when you hit the road!

Experience over money and things! All the money I earn goes straight into experiences! I hardly buy clothes and hate shopping, so it’s easy for me to save money. Thanks for the read!

I could relate to your answers here. Travel makes me realize how people from across the world are different yet are the same. We learn from other people’s perspectives of how they go about their daily lives. They in turn also learn from us, but there’s always something in common that will bind us together with the people we meet and places we visit.

I think once you are bitten by the travel bug it never lets you go and you travel for the experience, to see and participate in a world much bigger than the country you grew up in, and are on the whole, better for it.

People told me I was running away when I left to go travelling, but it is certainly that something that always heals my soul. It’s something I love doing and the best thing I did was to start travelling full time. I can’t imagine doing anything else!!
