More than 45 million copies have been sold worldwide over the past 50 years and translated into 37 languages. Gabriel Garcia Maquez brought to the generation a great work known as magical realism. The novel tells the story of Buendia family living in the mythical town of Macondo, which is located by the river and isolated from the rest of the country. The story of rise and fall, birth and death. Interesting facts is that the fictional land is clearly created on base of Aracataca, the town where the author grew up. So, you can actually visit this little town. So, roam through the streets, read Gabriel Garcia Maquez novels, talk with locals and imagine being in a mythical Macondo for a moment.

It is a story about the young Pedro de Ursúa who travels to Peru and then to Cartagena to find wealth and glory. He meets fortunes and misfortunes on the way. Ursúa is one of the three series by William Ospina. Each one of them brings up different subjects regarding war, crossing and love.
